ISTHMUS FOOD AND WINE
For a while, I wrote about wine and food for Isthmus, Madison’s alt-monthly. I enjoyed it, but my skills are probably better used in my current volunteer role with the paper helping them to develop fundraising strategy.

MAKESHIFT FESTIVAL
I co-founded and organized this festival in 2017 and 2018 that brought together independent artists and chefs from around the Midwest to help people re-imagine the potential of Madison’s public spaces and benefit the Madison Parks Foundation. They were inspiring events that attracted a few thousand people each year, made money for a good cause, and paid every artist for their participation.
